The building is located at Grace church Street in the heart of the capital (London).

The professional team of Sanding City Service Ltd carried out the sanding, buffing and  the application of clear natural lacquer of this huge reception at Royal London Offices. Three teams were involved in the transformation process of the 145 square meters area.

We managed to remove all deep scratches and marks and return the natural look of the oak floor. In order to protect the wood and to achieve hard wearing and durable surface, we used top quality water based  lacquer – Bona Traffic.

This project requires individual approach towards every aspect of the work. This wasn’t a standard job, it was a project which test our skills to the limit. The whole idea was to install reclaimed boards on a plywood base and create the atmosphere of 200 years old floor combined with modern interior. Buffing and oiling an engineered floor in Regents park

In this project we have been called by a contractor who had troubles with a 280mm wide engineered floor. The oil application was poorly done and the whole floor was patchy and covered with stains. Our flooring experts buffed the whole massive area of 130 square meters with buffing machine and re-oiled the whole surface with top brand Osmo oil satin effect.

The oil looks glosy, this is because it’s still wet. The product which we used has satin effect.

The 87 square meters flats was sanded by hand sanders and oiled with Osmo oil satin effect. The fact that the site was done with hand sanders leaded to a poor results – the floor was covered with stains and spots.

The workers couldn’t remove the old floor finish, which react with the oil and the result was awful. Our floor sanding experts sanded the floor properly with professional sanding equipment and re-oiled the whole area. Buffing machine was used in order to produce a great and smooth surface.

Reclaimed oak parquet block fitting in SW90.

In this project our team installed 20 sq.m. of reclaimed oak parquet in lower ground bedroom.

The fact this bedroom was under ground level we took precautions to minimize any temperature, moister and humidity problems by installing plywood. Plywood acts as a humidity barrier and also leveling the base and providing perfect conditions for parquet laying.

Installing 160 square meters of reclaimed pine boards in SE13.

The massive 200 sq. meters flat was completed by our floor fitting experts in two stages. First stage includes fitting of 160 square meters area with reclaimed pine boards, supplied by lassco ltd. The boards were 30mm thick and they have been installed by gluing and screwing down method. The boards were sanded lightly by hand sanders in order to preserve the natural grain and vintage look.
